Family Games Night

The TCS Health Promoting School committee hosted it’s second biannual Family Games Night on Monday, February 10^th. The evening saw the gym and school teaming with activity as families came to the school with their students to take part in a variety of math activities. People enjoyed spreading out on the benches and some even stretched out on the floor as they laughed and shared the excitement of the evening. Thanks to TCS staff for provided interesting activities from their math programs and assisting families to participate in the games. Guessing the number of math manipulatives in the jar also proved to be a fun event with the winners collecting a food card to the Tiger’s Den canteen at TCS. The evening culminated with a show down of knowledge between Mr. Sheppard and Mrs. Price as they battled it out with Trivia Jenga. Since both are expert Jenga players and trivia whizzes, the tower did not topple ending with both wearing a costume to school the next day.
